At ON THE ROCK, we have been dealing with the issue of sustainability for a long time and try to be sustainable in all aspects of our work. The challenge here is to operate as sustainably as possible internally in our day-to-day office work, but above all also as a service provider at the events we manage and design.

We welcome our two sustainability managers Franziska Duwe & Rieka Dmitrukow for the development and implementation of a sustainability strategy that is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the ON THE ROCK GROUP. Ecological, social and economic aspects are taken into account - at our events, but also in our office. We have Stefan Lohmann from Hamburg on board as an additional contact and sparring partner. His recognised expertise as the developer of the "Sustainable Event Solutions" portal, especially in relation to events, is undisputed and the exchange is extremely fruitful for OTR.

We are convinced that sustainability is one - if not the - trend-setting topic of the future, not only in the context of events, but especially urgent as a service provider and pioneer in an innovative genre with a cultural background. Sustainable business through events with a positive impact is already part of OTR's DNA and will be an important key product for all our events in the future.

In this spirit, we would also like to recommend Stefan Lohmann's Rider, which in our opinion succinctly summarises the important cornerstones of sustainability. With the Sustainability Rider, he has developed the most compressed guideline for the entire event industry to realise events taking into consideration environmental protection, social justice and economic efficiency, the 3 pillars of sustainability.
